Welcome to the Stop Motion Church of Love!

We try to embrace the teachings and philosophies of many different religions, except the ones that are spiteful or turn to violence. We embrace the truth and deny the nonsense.

For example, with Christianity, we would rather focus on the actual teachings of Christ and not get into the politics, something right wing Christian fundamentalists often do.

We also suggest people of other religions use the SMCL as an adjunct or spiritual boost, like a plug-in to his or her religion or beliefs. It’s a high tech response to the sorry state of organized religions around the world. We try to avoid the dogma religions sometime dwell on and focus on the good and positive teachings of various beliefs.

The SMCL Doctrine

• Do that which is right, live a fruitful life, and hurt no one intentionally.

• Follow the Golden Rule: Do unto others as you would have them do
unto you.

• Embrace the best teachings of all of the world’s religions.

Use the SMCL as an adjunct religion – Like a plug-in!

The Eight Suggestions

1. Do unto others, as you would have them do unto you.

2. To thine own self be true.

3. What you consume you will become.

4. Forgive others, forgive yourself.

5. If you can’t help another human being, at least do not harm them.

6. Seek and you will find.

7. Keep and use your sense of humor.

8. Practice what you preach.
